Our Story
The name Giving Nhau comes from the Vietnamese word nhau, which means coming together sharing food, laughter, and life for no reason other than community.
When I first learned it, I loved what it stood for. I’m not Vietnamese, but that feeling of connection and gratitude resonated deeply because it’s something we all understand.
Here, we pronounce it “now” because giving isn’t about someday or special days; it’s about showing appreciation in the present moment. For us, nhau represents the joy of connection, belonging, and giving without needing a reason.
